I personally purchased loaves of bread for my family, and I really didn't notice a difference- the bread was as fresh, if not fresher than any loaf from the local grocery store.

Go Green, while saving Green- Check  your local  grocery  stores, and find  out  if they  will give  you a  discount for bringing  your  own bags. Some  stores actually pay  customers as much as 5 cents per grocery store bag. What  this means  is  they  will actually  pay  you  to not use their  bags. If you typically purchase 5-6 bags  of groceries, this means a savings of 25-30 cents per shopping trip...Do the  math.
